The Kids Director will provide vision, leadership, and oversight for all children’s ministry environments (Nursery through 6th grade). Key Responsibilities:

Lead, develop, and care for all staff and volunteer teams in Nursery, Pre-K, and Elementary ministries.

Cultivate a dynamic and welcoming Sunday experience that is fun, safe, and spiritually engaging for kids.

Build a thriving volunteer culture through training, encouragement, and team-building.

Partner with parents and families, equipping them to lead their children spiritually at home.

Collaborate with church leadership to align Kids Ministry with the mission and vision of ACC.

Maintain excellence in planning, curriculum development, scheduling, and communication.

Ensure that safety protocols and policies are in place and followed consistently.

Position Summary:

The Youth & Kids Pastor will lead the student ministry (grades 6–12) and provide oversight to the kids ministry volunteer teams (nursery through 5th grade). This person will be a relational leader who builds teams, connects with students and families, and fosters a ministry culture where young people grow in their relationship with Jesus and feel deeply known and loved.

Key Responsibilities:

Youth Ministry (Primary):

Lead and grow a dynamic youth ministry currently averaging around 40 students.

Build strong relationships with students, parents, and volunteers.

Plan and lead weekly youth gatherings, events, retreats, and outreach opportunities.

Teach biblically sound and relevant messages that challenge students to grow in their faith.

Equip and empower a team of youth volunteers to lead small groups and serve with excellence.

Kids Ministry (Oversight):

Provide leadership and direction to the kids ministry volunteers.

Ensure the kids environments are safe, welcoming, and gospel-centered.

Support the planning of age-appropriate lessons, curriculum, and events.

Family Connection & Support:

Partner with parents and guardians to support spiritual development at home.

Serve as a pastoral presence for families within the church.

Qualifications:

Energetic, relational leadership style with strong communication skills.
