The Kids Director will provide vision, leadership, and oversight for all children’s ministry environments (Nursery through 6th grade). This leader will champion a Christ-centered, safe, and engaging ministry for children while encouraging and equipping volunteers and partnering with families to help kids grow in their faith.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, develop, and care for all staff and volunteer teams in Nursery, Pre-K, and Elementary ministries.

Cultivate a dynamic and welcoming Sunday experience that is fun, safe, and spiritually engaging for kids.

Build a thriving volunteer culture through training, encouragement, and team-building.

Partner with parents and families, equipping them to lead their children spiritually at home.

Collaborate with church leadership to align Kids Ministry with the mission and vision of ACC.

Maintain excellence in planning, curriculum development, scheduling, and communication.

Ensure that safety protocols and policies are in place and followed consistently.

Position Summary
The Associate Minister will play a key leadership role in the life of the church by overseeing small groups, leading and developing young adult ministry, and assisting with youth ministry. This position is designed as a pastoral development pathway, with the expectation of transitioning into the Lead Pastor role within approximately three years.

We are seeking a humble, driven, and relational leader who is passionate about making disciples and building healthy ministry systems. The ideal candidate is both a team player and a self-starter, eager to grow into a Lead Pastor role and ready to invest deeply in the life of the church.

Leadership Pathway
This role is intentionally designed as a succession pathway. Over the course of approximately three years, the Associate Minister will be mentored, developed, and gradually entrusted with increasing leadership responsibility, with the goal of transitioning into the Lead Pastor role.

Key Responsibilities:

Small Groups Leadership

• Provide vision, strategy, and oversight for the church’s small group ministry

• Recruit, train, and support small group leaders

• Develop systems for assimilation, multiplication, and ongoing leader care

• Foster a culture of community, discipleship, and spiritual growth

Young Adult Ministry

• Lead and grow a vibrant ministry for young adults (post-high school through 20s/30s)

• Create environments for connection, discipleship, and leadership development

• Build relationships and mentor young adults in their faith journey

• Identify and equip emerging leaders

Youth Ministry Support

• Assist in the development and execution of middle and high school ministry

• Support youth programming, teaching, and volunteer leadership

• Build relationships with students and families

• Collaborate with youth leaders to create a strong discipleship pathway

Pastoral Development & Leadership

• Participate in preaching opportunities as assigned

• Engage in pastoral care, counseling, and leadership responsibilities

• Work closely with current leadership for mentoring and intentional development

• Take on increasing leadership responsibility in preparation for Lead Pastor transition

Additional Responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff and ministry teams to align with the church’s mission and vision

• Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and church-wide initiatives

• Help foster unity and spiritual health across all ministries

Qualifications

• A clear and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ

• A calling to pastoral ministry and a desire to lead at a high level

• Strong leadership, relational, and communication skills

• Experience in ministry leadership (small groups, young adults, or youth preferred)

Belmont Christian Church is looking for a relational, steady leader to step into a well-established student ministry and guide it forward. This role provides spiritual leadership and intentional discipleship for middle and high school students, partnering closely with families and volunteers while developing students who worship, serve, and lead within the life of the church and the surrounding community.

Ideal Candidate:

• An emotionally mature leader who loves students and builds trust with parents and volunteers.

• Proven experience leading a healthy, growing student ministry.

• Humble, patient, and secure—able to honor what’s been built while guiding the ministry forward.

• Long-term minded, seeking to plant roots and invest deeply in students, families, and the life of the church.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3–7 years of student ministry experience.

• Experience leading ministries with 50–100+ students.

• Bachelor’s Degree from a Restoration Movement College.

• Comfort serving in a college-influenced, professionally diverse community.

• Ability to plan and lead camps, conferences, mission trips, and service initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide spiritual leadership and discipleship for middle and high school students (grades 7–12)

• Lead and oversee weekly student ministry gatherings and core programming

• Build and sustain strong relationships with students, parents, and volunteers

• Equip and empower adult and student leaders to serve, worship, and lead within the ministry
