Responsibilities

Position Summary
The Associate Pastor of Next Gen will provide vision, leadership, and pastoral care primarily for middle school and high school students, while also developing a thriving college ministry and contributing to the preaching ministry of the church. Time Allocation

Key Responsibilities

Youth Ministry (70%)

  • Lead and cast vision for a dynamic, growing student ministry

  • Plan and execute weekly youth gatherings, small groups, and special events

  • Teach biblically sound and engaging messages to students

  • Develop and disciple student leaders

  • Recruit, train, and shepherd adult volunteers

  • Organize retreats, camps, and mission opportunities

College/Young Adult Ministry (20%)

  • Develop and grow a ministry for college-aged and young adults

  • Identify and equip leaders within the college ministry

  • Partner with local colleges or community networks as appropriate

Preaching & Teaching (10%)

  • Preach during weekend services as scheduled
