The Kids Director will provide vision, leadership, and oversight for all children’s ministry environments (Nursery through 6th grade). Key Responsibilities:

Lead, develop, and care for all staff and volunteer teams in Nursery, Pre-K, and Elementary ministries.

Cultivate a dynamic and welcoming Sunday experience that is fun, safe, and spiritually engaging for kids.

Build a thriving volunteer culture through training, encouragement, and team-building.

Partner with parents and families, equipping them to lead their children spiritually at home.

Collaborate with church leadership to align Kids Ministry with the mission and vision of ACC.

Maintain excellence in planning, curriculum development, scheduling, and communication.

Ensure that safety protocols and policies are in place and followed consistently.

Position Summary
The Associate Minister will play a key leadership role in the life of the church by overseeing small groups, leading and developing young adult ministry, and assisting with youth ministry. This position is designed as a pastoral development pathway, with the expectation of transitioning into the Lead Pastor role within approximately three years.

Leadership Pathway

Key Responsibilities:

Small Groups Leadership

• Provide vision, strategy, and oversight for the church’s small group ministry

• Recruit, train, and support small group leaders

Young Adult Ministry

• Lead and grow a vibrant ministry for young adults (post-high school through 20s/30s)

Youth Ministry Support

• Assist in the development and execution of middle and high school ministry

• Support youth programming, teaching, and volunteer leadership

Pastoral Development & Leadership

• Participate in preaching opportunities as assigned

• Engage in pastoral care, counseling, and leadership responsibilities

• Work closely with current leadership for mentoring and intentional development

Additional Responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff and ministry teams to align with the church’s mission and vision
